Your Data "Your Data" means any information about You which is personally identifiable, including, without limitation, your name, address, telephone number, email address, financial details, member name, password, comments, profiles, personal descriptions, food consumption history and other information from which You can be identified and which You may disclose to Us ("TheBodyDiary.com") or otherwise via the Site at any time.

2. When do we collect Your Data?


a. If you register as a member, we collect data when you:
i. register as a member;
ii. update your profile or online settings;
iii. add food & drink items to your online.
b. If you otherwise use the Site (whether or not you are a Member), we collect Your Data from you:
i. when you make a complaint or enquiry or provide other feedback to us;
ii. when you submit an entry to a competition or prize draw;
iii. when you disclose your data to us or otherwise through the site at any other point.

3. How we use Your Data


a. We may use your data to:
i. monitor, develop and improve the website, services and your experience;
ii. process your registration as a member and to process and administer your membership (where appropriate);
iii. process and deal with any complaints or enquiries made by or about you;
iv. investigate any suspected breach of the Terms and Conditions of use or membership Terms and Conditions (as relevant) made by or otherwise relating to you and to monitor compliance including by way of checking enquires to the database for inappropriate use;
v. to send you and keep you updated with information by email about existing and new services and special offers from us; The exception is during a free trial period when we reserve the right to contact you concerning the status of your membership;
vi. to send you information by e-mail about related products or services of selected third parties that may be of interest to you; and
vii. where you are a prize winner, to publish or otherwise make available a list of prize winners.
b. To opt-out of receiving any information pursuant to paragraphs 3(a) points (v) and (vi), You can:
i. use the facility contained in any such email communication; or
ii. email us at customercare@thebodydiary.com stating your registration email address, password and postcode, and who you do not wish to receive further communications from.


4. Will we pass on Your Data to third parties?


a. We may pass your data to other parties as follows:
i. Our employees and agents to administer your membership and the services provided to you by us now or in the future.
ii. Some general statistical information about the website user base, sales patterns, traffic volumes, food consumption statistics and related matters may be passed on to reputable third parties but these details will not include information personally identifying you.
iii. We may disclose your data to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of the Terms and Conditions of Use and (where appropriate) Membership Terms and Conditions by You or otherwise where required by law. a. We do not pass or sell Your Data to third persons for any other purpose than those set out in 4(a) above. Any marketing under paragraph 3(a) point (vi) is conducted by Us on behalf of third parties and they do not have any access to Your Data unless You Yourself choose to contact them.

We endeavor to take all reasonable steps to protect Your Data. All the Data collected by us is stored on a secure server. The secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.

Where You are a Member, You may access and update Your Data contained in Your Member Account accessed by the "My Profile" tab. You must make sure that You update Your Data as soon as possible with any and all relevant changes.

We are not responsible for the data policies, content or security of these linked web sites. We do not have any control over the use to which third parties may put Your Data where You choose to purchase products or services or otherwise to contact them via this Site.
